Longitude secures Chubb backing in new partnership
AUB-owned strata specialist Longitude Insurance today announced the start of a new security arrangement with Chubb, which has replaced Vero.
The global strength of the Chubb brand will take the strata insurer’s business to the next level, according to Longitude executives.
“It’s critical for Longitude to maintain a strong product offering to maximise opportunities for our supporting brokers and fast track our growth in the sector,” GM Gordon Bell said.
“Chubb is a recognised brand in the Australian strata market with an appetite for success. Their proven track record will enable Longitude to reach its business objectives.”
Longitude Director Angie Zissis, who is MD of AUB’s underwriting agency arm Sura, says Chubb will provide additional capability that will bolster business and product development.
Chubb is confident the partnership will produce win-win results for both parties, with Country President Australia and New Zealand Jarrod Hill saying his company will contribute its “property underwriting expertise, portfolio management capabilities and financial strength”.
“In addition to offering capacity, we will bring Chubb’s craftsmanship to this new agreement, delivering superior service and outcomes for all stakeholders.”
