Marcus Pearson has been appointed CEO of Lockton Pacific, heading the Australian and New Zealand operations. 

Paul Marsden, who has held the role for almost eight years, will continue at Lockton as a consultant managing key client relationships.

Brisbane-based Mr Pearson was previously Marsh Specialty Pacific head and Marsh McLennan Pacific chief commercial officer.

He also served as Marsh CEO in New Zealand for more than eight years, and spent more than seven years at JLT Australia in Sydney.  

“Marcus is a seasoned insurance executive who has held a wide variety of leadership roles. He is a passionate, engaging and accomplished leader who will enable us to realise our bold ambitions in the region,” Lockton International CEO Chris Brown said.

Mr Marsden has been at Lockton for 13 years. He previously spent five years at Australian Reliance Group and seven at Aon.
