The failure of Catholic Church Insurance (CCI) is the main topic tackled by the panel in the latest edition of the Insurance News podcast.

As previously reported, CCI will cease issuing new or renewal policies and will voluntarily place the organisation into “run off” after it was unable to secure sufficient additional capital.

This week’s edition of INsight, hosted by Insurance News MD Andrew Silcox, features the observations of Chairman Terry McMullan, Managing Editor John Deex, Deputy Editor Wendy Pugh and Senior Journalists Bernice Han and Miranda Maxwell.

The panel also addresses claims that 2023 is the year of the pay rise, and talks about some rare good news for the farm sector, plus the first recipient of the Federal Government's new Disaster Ready Fund.
