INsight podcast: some home truths on affordability
Worsening home insurance affordability challenges are the main discussion point on the latest Insurance News podcast.
As previously reported, a report from the Actuaries Institute and Finity says half the population of southwest Queensland, NSW’s Northern Rivers, regional WA and the NT face home insurance premiums that exceed a month’s income.
This week’s edition of INsight, hosted by Insurance News MD Andrew Silcox, features the observations of editor-in-chief John Deex, deputy editor Wendy Pugh, and senior journalists Bernice Han and Miranda Maxwell.
The panel also talks about trade union accusations of price gouging, the return of APRA's quarterly statistics, and the ICA's upcoming industry recruitment campaign.
