INsight podcast: it's raining reform

The flood of regulatory reform about to wash up at the industry's door is the main focus of the latest Insurance News podcast.

Key changes coming up in October were listed in our Analysis article, and consumer groups have expressed concern about the watering down of some Hayne royal commission reforms.

This week’s edition of INsight, hosted by Insurance News Managing Director Andrew Silcox, features the observations of Insurance News Publisher Terry McMullan, Managing Editor John Deex, and Deputy Editor Wendy Pugh.

Also covered are the upcoming second business interruption test case, which has been delayed by one week since the podcast was recorded, and a mid-year market report from broker Marsh.

Mr McMullan also takes listeners on a nostalgic tour of insurance conferences past, as the panel discusses the Business Events Council of Australia's call for a government-led insurance scheme to enable the recovery of the business events sector.

You can find a new episode of INsight published here each week.
