Opposition Leader Peter Dutton's threat to break up big insurers is the main topic of conversation on the latest episode of the Insurance News podcast.

As previously reported, Mr Dutton says a Coalition government would intervene if insurers don't bring premiums down, but the Insurance Council says the industry is "very competitive", with 30 companies offering home and motor cover.
