INsight podcast: commiserations on crop commissions

CGU's decision to cut commissions on crop to zero is one of the key topics of discussion on the latest Insurance News podcast.

As previously reported, brokers have criticised the insurer for the change, which comes into effect on July 1, and for not giving them more notice.

This week’s edition of INsight, hosted by Insurance News MD Andrew Silcox, features the observations of Chairman Terry McMullan, Managing Editor John Deex, Deputy Editor Wendy Pugh and Senior Journalist Bernice Han.

The panel also discusses the abandoned AUB/PSC joint venture in the UK, AMP's punishment for charging dead customers for life insurance, and the ICA's thoughts on the future of cyber.
