ICA board appoints four new directors
The Insurance Council of Australia (ICA) board today appointed four directors, and accepted the resignation of outgoing IAG CEO Australia Mark Milliner.
As insuranceNEWS.com.au reported last week, Mr Milliner left the insurer after losing out to rival Nick Hawkins for the Group CEO position, and as plans were unveiled to split the Australia division in two.
ICA says appointed as directors today were: QBE Australia Interim MD Frank Costigan, RACQ Group Executive Insurance Tracy Green, Chubb Country President Australia & New Zealand Jarrod Hill, and Munich Re MD Ralph Ronnenberg.
The board also ratified the membership application of HDI Global Specialty CE (Australia Branch). The ICA now has 58 member companies.
