Hollard chief joins ICA board as Enthoven exits
Hollard CEO Paul Fahey has been appointed to the board of the Insurance Council of Australia, which will next month elect a replacement for outgoing president Nick Hawkins.
Mr Fahey joins as Hollard founder and former CEO Richard Enthoven steps down from the board after 10 years that included stints as president and deputy president.
The changes were made at the ICA’s annual meeting earlier this week.
IAG chief Mr Hawkins – whose term as president finishes at the end of the year – has thanked Mr Enthoven for his “long and committed service” and welcomed Mr Fahey.
“Paul brings with him a breadth of knowledge and experience of the insurance industry that will be invaluable,” Mr Hawkins said today.
Also on the ICA board are QBE Australia Pacific CEO Sue Houghton, Allianz Australia MD Richard Feledy, Avant Mutual CEO Natasha Fenech, Munich Holdings of Australasia MD Scott Hawkins, Suncorp CEO Steve Johnston, Chubb country president Peter Kelaher, Zurich local CEO Justin Delaney, Auto & General CEO Asia-Pacific Ram Kangatharan, RAA Insurance CEO Tara Page and Lloyd's general representative in Australia Tracey Bryan.
