Hollard appoints new transformation, people chiefs
Jamie Smith has been promoted to the role of Hollard Chief Transformation Officer while Shilpa Walker has been appointed Chief People Officer.
Melbourne-based Mr Smith, who joined Hollard as CIO in 2019 and was formerly a partner at EY, says he will “focus on the shifts required to position us for the future”.
“I lead the strategy execution vehicles, including business design and architecture, organisational change management, technology and data enablement, delivery centres and the ecosystem needed to execute on our vision,” he said.
Sydney-based Ms Shilpa most recently held a similar role at Newcastle Permanent Building Society. She has previously had senior positions at Commonwealth Bank, Macquarie Group, KPMG, Hastings Funds Management and Barclays.
“Shilpa brings a wealth of executive HR experience in the financial services industry. Her passion for the employee experience is evident,” Hollard said.
Hollard also recently appointed former Zurich Australia COO Suzi Leung as Chief Commercial Officer.
