Hall, Enthoven among winners at ANZIIF awards night

Leading professionals and companies were recognised at the annual Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance Awards last night.

The 20th annual awards evening was a sellout event, with more than 800 people attending at The Star in Sydney.

The program honours outstanding accomplishments in insurance and the “impressive and diverse” talent that drives the industry. 

ANZIIF CEO Katrina Shanks says this year’s winners “set new benchmarks and lead the way with their outstanding contributions. We celebrate not just the winners but the dedication, innovation and brilliance that define our industry.”

Founder of Hollard's Australia operations Richard Enthoven was given the ANZIIF lifetime achievement award, while Insurance Council of Australia CEO Andrew Hall was named insurance leader of the year.

Hobart-based Barry Nilsson senior associate Demi Peters was crowned young insurance professional of the year.
