Gallagher chooses UK firm’s digital claims platform
Gallagher is rolling out a new digital claims platform in Australia that will cut processing time and speed up insurers’ responses.
The broker contracted UK digital claims specialist 360Globalnet to help build and develop the real-time system for personal and commercial lines customers.
“360Globalnet is an international online digital technology business focusing on claims and risk assessment, utilising an advanced end-to-end digital claims system specifically designed for the insurance carrier,” Director of Business Development Asia-Pacific Daniel Lukich told insuranceNEWS.com.au today.
“This system is essentially a digital enabler that allows an insurer or broker to communicate with their customers via their smartphones or emails. We are proud to be partnering with Gallagher to support their transition to a digital claims proposition.”
The Gallagher contract is a major boost for 360Globalnet, which opened its first Australian office in Melbourne in February last year as a springboard to the Asia-Pacific region.
A number of potential insurance clients have shown interest in the system that will be used in the Gallagher platform.
The proprietary technology allows an insurer to build a bespoke digital process and have it deployed quickly and within a catastrophe event in a matter of hours.
“We are currently talking to half a dozen major insurers and supply chains in this market,” Mr Lukich said.
