Actuarial firm Finity has launched its cloud-based Central platform in New Zealand, after updating the system to include flood and storm risks facing individual properties across the country. 

“Central empowers insurance sector clients to make informed decisions about their products and services by providing a deeper understanding of their business, customers and the market more broadly,” New Zealand Managing Principal John Smeed said today. 

“In a single platform, Central provides access to targeted insights by quickly and easily mapping and analysing location-orientated data. We are proud to launch this capability in New Zealand.” 

Finity launched Central in Australia last July, providing its insurance clients access to targeted geographical data and insights from a single platform. The platform offers location-based data on the demographic, climatic and physical risk characteristics of any address in the country.
