Allianz Australia’s financial lines portfolio will be managed by underwriting agency Dual Australia from October 1, and the insurer will be the sole capacity provider under the partnership.

“I’m thrilled to announce that … we at Dual Australia will take over the underwriting and management of the Allianz financial lines portfolio,” the agency’s CEO Damien Coates said today in a brief video announcement.

He says the partnership is “testament to [Dual’s] outstanding technical underwriting expertise and claims handling capabilities. It also represents an enormous display of trust in Dual from Allianz, and highlights the significant benefits of our distribution network across four offices nationally.”

He says Allianz staying on as capacity provider will ensure continuity for brokers and policyholders. More details will be provided closer to October 1, Mr Coates says.
