Crawford names Australia President

Crawford & Company National Executive Adjuster Jonathan Hubbard has been appointed Australia President, taking over from Tim Jarman who is preparing to retire at the end of the year, the claims management group announced today.

The business had announced in April that Mr Jarman will be stepping down after 15 years with the company.

Mr Hubbard, who joined the group in 2016 as Head of Business Improvement, will start his new role on August 21.

“Having been with Crawford for over seven years, Jonathan brings intimate knowledge of the workings of our Australian business and the local market as well as a strong history in loss adjusting, plus a fresh perspective and eagerness to seize the growth opportunities across the broader claims management sphere,” CEO of International Operations Andrew Bart said.

Mr Hubbard comes with a background in specialty loss adjusting and business management and a former director of the Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters.

Before Crawford, he spent 21 years at other national loss adjusting business where he held various senior management roles.

After joining Crawford as Head of Business Development he was later elevated to Chief Client Officer and in 2018 took up his present role as National Executive Adjuster.

“Jonathan has a proven track record of developing and growing business lines and their associated teams, with a focus on quality, technical ability and customer service excellence,” Mr Bart said.

“In addition, Jonathan’s knowledge of our operation in Australia ensures a smooth and successful leadership transition.”

Mr Hubbard says the Australian business is well placed with successful property and specialty loss adjusting teams and expects to introduce soon some of the technology solutions that Crawford has developed.

“I am committed to accelerating innovation, with digital that simplifies, to make the claims process quicker and easier – this is key to client and policyholder satisfaction,” he said.
