Clyde & Co launches cyber risk advisory practice
Law firm Clyde & Co has launched an APAC Cyber Risk Advisory practice in response to growing demand from clients seeking support to improve their digital security.
Chris McLaughlin will head the new service offering, and with his team will advise clients on ways to improve the cyber resilience of their systems, processes and people.
He was previously Head of Aon Cyber Solutions in Australia and has more than 20 years’ experience in information security and cyber risk management, including senior leadership roles at PwC, Gartner, EY and IBM.
He has also advised some of the world’s largest organisations on cyber strategies, transformation and governance programs.
“Organisations across Australia and New Zealand are facing ever-rising expectations when it comes to being ready for, responding to and recovering from cyber incidents,” Partner, Co-Head Global Cyber Practice John Moran said.
“[Mr McLaughlin] and his team will work closely with insurers and brokers to ensure insureds get independent, technology/vendor neutral advice on how organisations can improve the cyber resilience of their systems, processes and people.”
