Ausure steps in as Brisbane AR principal puts family first

Ausure will acquire the portfolio of authorised representative CPR Insurance Services as its principal Mandy Cooper takes extended leave and steps back from the business.

Mandy and Robert Cooper were directors of Brisbane-based CPR. Mr Cooper, who was well known and respected across the industry, died in January last year aged 61 following a battle with cancer.

“The past few years have been a journey of significant changes for our family. After Robert’s passing, life has been a rollercoaster of ups and downs, from unexpected challenges and heartbreaks to memorable celebrations and milestones,” Ms Cooper said.

“Through it all, the unwavering loyalty and support from the industry and our clients have been a source of strength.

“After much reflection, I’ve decided it’s time to take a step back to focus on my children and myself.”

Ausure GM – broker Rolf Van Dulst, who will help with the transition, says his company’s team, supplemented by CPR’s Cindy Boyle, will strive to maintain CPR’s standards.

“I feel one of the strengths of the Ausure network is that the clients who have long benefited from the highly professional services provided by Mandy and the team at CPR Insurance Services will continue to benefit from the same standard of service through the Ausure CPR Insurance Brokers team into the future,” he said.

“Our broader team, including the dedicated claims team, will ensure client satisfaction remains the benchmark by which we gauge ourselves.

“I’d also like to wish Mandy all the very best for the future.”

Ausure, which began in 1996 with founding offices in NSW, Victoria and the ACT, has more than 240 authorised representatives across Australia. Its head office is in Brisbane.
