ANZIIF’s in-person annual meeting ‘a chance to reconnect’

The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance will hold an in-person annual general meeting for the first time since 2019.

Members are invited to attend on May 14 at 12-Micron in Barangaroo, Sydney.

“ANZIIF’s AGM will return to an in-person format, offering members the chance to reconnect face-to-face,” the institute said. “This is a unique opportunity for the ANZIIF community to come together to reflect on the past year, celebrate achievements, and look ahead to the future of the organisation and the wider insurance industry.”

The institute will also hold a “member connect” networking event after the announcement of its new president and VP and the presentation of honorary life memberships, service awards and the E.E. Vines Memorial Prize for best article.

CEO Katrina Shanks says the new networking session is “a space where new conversations can begin, ideas can be shared, and a sense of belonging within the industry can grow.

“Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with industry peers and celebrate the achievements of recent ANZIIF graduates.”

The institute’s latest graduates can attend to collect their certificates in person.
