Allianz icare agreement extended
NSW state-owned insurer icare has extended an authorised provider agreement with Allianz to the end of next year.
“Whilst some minor changes have been made to update agreement details, there have been no material amendments to the performance framework,” icare said today.
The 12-month extension aligns the end date of the Allianz agreement with the GIO and QBE authorised provider agreements, ensuring continuity and stability of the scheme, icare says.
icare began piloting an authorised provider model with Allianz and some of its larger customers in January 2018, paving the way for arrangements to provide choice of claims provider to the largest employer customers in NSW.
Allianz, GIO and QBE have been authorised representatives since the conclusion of the pilot program.
