360 Underwriting Solutions has appointed Scott Luxford to lead its Construction and Engineering business.

Mr Luxford was most recently with QBE, where he was responsible for the Underwriting Agencies and Professional Risks business. Before QBE, he held senior leadership and underwriting roles at Zurich, Allianz and in London markets.

360 Underwriting Solutions says Mr Luxford will bring a wealth of experience to the business, which will further enhance the broader performance and expansion plans of the group.

“We are thrilled to have [him] decide to join 360 and enhance our leadership, distribution, and underwriting capability,” MD Denis Morrissey said.

“More broadly, the quality and depth of the Insurance professionals who have joined 360 is a source of immense pride and at the heart of the success we have enjoyed over the last five years.”

Chris Lynch, who co-founded 360 along with Mr Morrissey, says with Mr Luxford leading the Construction and Engineering business, Adrian Martin will focus on growing the eSentry Technology business which is building technology solutions for the 360 Group and its broker partners trading platforms.

360 says it expects to announce new offerings and additional appointments soon.
