Zurich signals commitment to NZ with new building
Zurich New Zealand staff will move into a new headquarters in Auckland in August, firmly reinforcing the company’s decision to stay in the NZ market.
The company quit NZ 10 years ago and returned in 2007.
Zurich Australia CEO General Insurance Shane Doyle says New Zealand is a strategic market for Zurich, and having a landmark building “reconfirms our goal to robustly grow our market there”.
“Occupancy of this building and the signage rights are evidence of our commitment to the New Zealand market in the long term.”
Zurich NZ GM Adrian Riminton says the new building, which has a environmental rating, will bring together business units now spread around the city and give Zurich a great base from which to support brokers as the business grows.
