Zurich Australia has produced what it says is the first Australian podcast on insurance issues for SME businesses.

Zurich says the podcast, which is intended to counter underinsurance, will form part of an educational series designed to help brokers tackle insurance issues with SME clients.

Podcasts are distributed over the internet for playback on portable media players and personal computers. The first Zurich podcast features LMI Group principal and loss assessment and claims management expert Allan Manning.

Zurich General Insurance GM Anthony Day says Cyclone Larry and the recent Newcastle and Hunter Valley storms in NSW are clear demonstrations why it is important to ensure correct business insurance cover.
