Zurich partnership to ‘elevate awareness’ on sustainability
Zurich Resilience Solutions and GoImpact Capital Partners say they are teaming up to help Asia-Pacific businesses address climate change challenges.
The Zurich commercial risk advisory and services unit says GoImpact’s expertise in sustainability education will combine with its advanced climate risk analysis, proprietary climate and financial loss data, and specialised tools to help businesses identify, assess and adapt to climate risks.
The alliance, initially targeting businesses in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia, aims to address extreme weather events, supply chain disruptions and operational vulnerabilities.
Zurich Resilience Solutions global head of climate and sustainability Amar Rahman says GoImpact has a strong presence in sustainability advocacy in the region, and the partnership “highlights the critical role of education in fostering climate resilience”.
“The appetite for implementing effective solutions hinges on understanding the challenges at hand and the potential impact of inaction on business operations,” he said.
“Through this collaboration, we aim to elevate awareness and empower public and private sector entities to take meaningful steps toward sustainability.”
The partnership offers data-driven climate risk assessments, resilience training, information on market trends and regulatory requirements, and regulatory reporting support.
“Our combined strengths are complementary and form a holistic tool kit of risk assessment, learning and advocacy that bridges a significant market gap,” GoImpact CEO and co-founder Helene Li said.
