Zurich Insurance Group Chief Investment Officer Cecilia Reyes will take on the additional role of Regional Chairman Asia-Pacific, replacing Geoff Riddell from April 1.

Dr Reyes joined the insurer in 2001 as regional manager group investments for North America.

Other previous roles at Zurich include regional manager Europe and head of investment strategy and implementation.

Mr Riddell, who is retiring, joined Zurich in 2000 as commercial MD in the UK. He is a former CEO global corporate and CEO Asia-Pacific and Middle East.
