Zurich Financial Services Australia has launched a new web-based delivery system called Z.stream that it says are set to revolutionise the way brokers do business. The system allows brokers access to full cycle online policy processing for Zurich’s AllGuard Business Insurance products.

Anthony Day, Zurich’s GM of General Insurance, says the new Z.stream delivery system, which can be accessed via Sunrise Exchange, will be “a boon” for brokers because of the time its expected to save them in doing business.

“Z.stream was developed with brokers in mind,” Mr Day said. “For the first time brokers will be able to complete full cycle policy processing for a business insurance product completely via the web – from quote to completion – and that includes producing the certificate of currency.”

To access Z.stream, brokers must be connected to Sunrise Exchange and have completed a Zurich access application form.

Mr Day said Zurich will launch further full-cycle products during 2003.
