Zurich Australia has set up a heavy motor specialist claims unit in its NSW motor claims division. The number of NSW claims in this area is about 1000 a year.

General Insurance GM Anthony Day says heavy motor is a specialist area and Zurich felt it was important to develop a strategic direction specifically for heavy vehicles, plant and machinery.
