Zurich Australia has appointed Adrian Riminton as EGM Commercial.

Mr Riminton, who joined Zurich in 2010, is currently New Zealand GM. He has 20 years’ experience in financial services, including 12 years in insurance.

“I have no doubt he will drive the best outcomes in our broader SME and middle-market commercial business in Australia and New Zealand,” General Insurance CEO Daniel Fogarty said.

Mr Riminton will be based in Sydney but retain oversight of New Zealand operations.

Christina Chellew, currently New Zealand Underwriting Manager, will become acting GM in New Zealand.
