Three former Chubb Insurance claims specialists have been recruited by Zurich Financial Services Australia to improve its financial lines offering through a dedicated in-house claims team.

Mark Gates will head up the new team as Chief Claims Officer, Financial Lines – Asia Pacific. Former Chubb colleagues Susan Donaldson will be Senior Claims Specialist in the division, while Jaydon Burke-Douglas will be Claims Specialist.

Zurich Head of Claims Stephen Brooks says the move reflects the company’s expanded financial lines activities within the wider Asia-Pacific region.

“Financial lines insurance is a complex area that requires specialised claims resources,” he said.”
