Angie Zissis has been appointed as the new MD of AUB-owned underwriting agency group Sura.

Mr Zissis is a former Finance Director at Marsh and COO at Aon Australia. He was most recently previously NSW State Manager of ATC Insurance Solutions.

He told insuranceNEWS.com.au Sura will add up to 15 additional staff over the next year.

“We need to have [extra] people in the finance, IT and marketing space. We’ll also be looking to add a couple of people in the claims area.

“This is a dynamic organisation with real entrepreneurial spirit and commercial acumen.”

“My priority will be to deliver best-of-breed products and service to brokers and their clients. We are in the business of making life easier for brokers and their clients.”

Former MD Craig Patterson has become Executive Chairman of Sura.
