Youi is once again offering to partially refund motor premiums to customers using their cars less during COVID lockdowns.

Youi will refund 15% of premiums for two months to customers in NSW and Victoria.

CEO Hugo Schreuder says Youi policyholders were appreciative of similar offers last year, when it refunded more than $15 million to customers affected by COVID.

“We’re committed to once again supporting those that need it,” Mr Schreuder said. “We recognise that driving behaviour in NSW and Victoria has changed, so offering support to those that have been using their car less is simply the right thing to do.”

Youi may extend the offer to its Queensland customers if driver behaviour and claims frequency follow similar trends to the other states.
