XL Catlin has appointed Steve Gibbs as Head of Claims Asia-Pacific, while Peter Fryer has been confirmed as Operations Manager for Australia.

Both held similar positions at Catlin Australia before the acquisition by XL Group.

As previously reported by insuranceNEWS.com.au, Robin Johnson heads the XL Catlin Australian operation, while Craig Langham is CEO Asia-Pacific.

In reinsurance, Peter Schmidt has been named CEO of Asia-Pacific and Latin America.
