Specialist professional indemnity and general liability underwriter Woodina has established an accident and health division.

Suzie White, former head of accident and health for Beazley in Australia, leads the division.

The new team includes Terina Ngawaka, who joined Woodina this year after various roles specialising in accident and health. The company has also brought in industry veteran Don Booker, who has been involved with Lloyd’s in this sector throughout his insurance career, mainly as a coverholder.

Woodina Underwriting Agency was started by Michael Wood in 2012. Lloyd’s provides capacity for all its divisions.
