Global broker Willis has appointed Chris Nelson as MD Placement Services for Willis Australia and New Zealand, effective immediately.

Mr Nelson, who was Regional Head of Specialisms, has been acting in the role since February, after Mr Gatto resigned to join Aon.

Willis Australasia CEO Pieter Lindhout says the fact that Mr Nelson emerged as the ideal candidate for the job is “testament to the calibre of staff at Willis”.
