Commercial insurance broker Coverforce has appointed Jim Glossat as COO.

Mr Glossat will leave his role as head of general insurance at Westpac and begin his new job in Sydney on June 16.

Coverforce began in 1994 as a specialist provider of insurance to the construction industry.

Last year it expanded with the purchase of MA Risk Solutions’ Australian operations, and it has completed a number of other broker acquisitions.
