Wesfarmers Insurance Division has added to its New Zealand presence with the acquisition of Auckland-based film and television production broker Mahony, Trendall & Jack (MTJ).

MTJ will merge with Crombie Lockwood’s Mount Eden office and operate under the Crombie Lockwood brand. It has three directors and five staff members, and manages the accounts of 1600 commercial and personal clients.

The broker is Wesfarmers’ sixth insurance acquisition this year in Australia, NZ and the UK.
