New Perth-based broker Woods & Associates has joined broker group IBNA.

The business says it specialises in mining and construction, corporate and industrial, marine and energy, aged care and community, professional and financial, and national and international.

“I like IBNA because of its independence,” MD Simon Woods told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

“When you’re establishing a business there are a lot of things you don’t know, so I was looking at that in terms of the ability to speak to people about insurance broking business.”

IBNA has more than 80 independently owned insurance brokers in its network, with a collective gross written premium of more than $1.3 billion across all classes of underwriting businesses.
