Vero is offering brokers an online interface for home and motor policies using Sunrise Exchange.

These transactions have been restricted to the Vero Central platform for several years, but a spokesman says the company is responding to requests from some brokers to reconnect to the Sunrise Exchange platform. 

This will allow brokers to write home and motor policies through their business management systems, “which removes the need for re-keying or re-entering data”, he told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

Brokers can move across to Ebix-owned Sunrise Exchange or stay with Vero Central.

The option to move to Sunrise Exchange is being offered this month and in January, with Sunrise staff updating brokers’ business management systems as required.

Policies will automatically transition to Sunrise Exchange at the next renewal.
