Vero has upgraded its policy in the super-competitive professional indemnity (PI) market, offering a raft of improvements including free legal consultation and compensation for court attendance.

It will now offer up to $10,000 per claim in compensation for court attendance, up to two hours of free legal advice, the hiring of public relations staff to help restore reputation and indemnity for work experience personnel.
