Vero is expanding its Vero Central online broker hub as more brokers move to transact over the internet.

The company has expanded its construction and equipment breakdown cover, with an increase in the turnover limit, the ability to vary deductibles and a wider range of available endorsements.

Suncorp Commercial Insurance Senior Technical Specialist Construction Paul Hiser says brokers increasingly want to tailor a policy to a customer’s needs, get a quote and bind online at a time that suits them.

“A suite of changes have been implemented that will enable brokers to place cover for a broader range of clients with more flexibility and in a shorter time,” he said.

There have been substantial changes to engineering breakdown cover and 20 new occupations have been added.
