US giant buys adjuster Aim
American insurance investigations company Allied Universal has acquired Adelaide loss adjuster Aim Insurance Services.
Allied compliance and investigations MD for Australia Kieran Milne says Aim is renowned for industry leadership, product quality and customer service.
“Aim Insurance Services is a perfect fit as Allied Universal further expands its already-strong ProAdjuster capabilities in the property claims sector,” he said.
Allied’s ProAdjuster service offers property claims adjusting across Australia, Europe and the US.
Aim, founded in 2016, says the acquisition provides access to expanded resources and expertise.
“This is an exciting opportunity to combine the strengths of two industry leaders,” Aim director and co-founder Alison Burns-Green said. “We are confident this acquisition will create new possibilities and deliver exceptional results for our customers.”
Allied has made 24 acquisitions in two years, including nine outside the US.
It has operations in more than 100 countries and says it is the third-largest private employer in North America and seventh in the world, with annual revenue above $US20 billion ($31.28 billion).
