Two NSW brokerages keep IBNA growing
Broker group IBNA has enrolled two more members, and Chairman Gary Gribbin says he expects more to join in the next few months.
The new members are NSW-based brokerages NWC Insurance in Crows Nest, and Capricorn Insurance Services in Sydney.
NWC was founded in 2013 by former JLT Australia executive Tony Venning.
Capricorn Insurance Services is managed by former Coverforce and InterRISK manager Schuyler Elia. It was incorporated in 2012 to provide insurance services to the Capricorn Society, a group supplying a range of services to 15,000 members in the automotive industry.
Mr Gribbin told insuranceNEWS.com.au a number of brokerages have joined the group in the past few months, and “there are a number in the pipeline”.
He says IBNA’s profile is proving attractive to brokers wanting to retain their independence and identity. The network has more than 80 members placing more than $1.3 billion of gross written premium annually.
