Suncorp Commercial Insurance has united its direct and intermediated distribution teams under one dedicated division.

Andrew Mair will manage the division as EGM Distribution Commercial Insurance. He was previously responsible only for intermediated business.

EM Broker Distribution Sam Sanfilippo will take on the national role of EM Broker Distribution.

Suncorp Commercial Insurance CEO Anthony Day says the move to unify the distribution channels is “an important and exciting move towards Commercial Insurance fully realising the competitive advantage its broad distribution capability brings to the business”.

He says the company’s broad range of distribution channels means it is well placed to respond to the changeable behaviour and trends of customers.

“Working as one team makes good business sense because – for the first time – we can devise, plan and execute distribution strategies with a complete Commercial Insurance-wide view.”
