Triton bulks up Australian team

Triton Global is to launch a new loss adjusting operation at its Sydney office.

Mike Walsh, founder of Triton Global’s specialist loss adjusting company Walsh PI+, will set up and run the business from next month.

It will serve Australia and the Asia-Pacific region and cater for London-market and other insurers. Operations in Brisbane, Hong Kong and Singapore will provide a support network.

The move is part of a drive to provide broader, global services to international clients.

It follows the recent creation of Triton Global from a merger of three entities – Walsh PI+, claims outsourcer DCS Global and professional indemnity law firm Robin Simon.

Triton has also announced new appointments to its claims division in Australia and overseas.

Stuart Greaves from DCS Global in Brisbane will be Regional Director in Australia. In the DCS Sydney office, Mat Holland becomes Claims Operations Manager for Third Party Lines.

Chay Wilkinson is the new Regional Director for Asia-Pacific, requiring a move from Sydney to Singapore.

DCS Asia-Pacific MD Jon Sitwell has been made Head of International Claims Services, based in London.
