NZ insurer Tower has appointed a new head for its general insurance and direct risk business, with Australian financial services consultant Pieter Lindhout starting in the new job on May 2.

Mr Lindhout is a former GM of Australian financial services and insurance consultants The Spencer Partnership and has been with AMP operations covering both Australia and NZ.
