Tower is pulling together its NZ operations under one CEO.

Group Managing Director Keith Taylor says consolidation will allow more leveraging of the brand.

Tower New Zealand Insurance and Operations and Tower New Zealand Investment Businesses are the entities going into the blender.

Current CEOs Paul Hunt and Paul Bevin are not chasing the new job, which will take several months to fill.

Mr Taylor says the new CEO of Tower New Zealand will play a big part in meeting the merger objectives.
