Tokio Marine has confirmed the appointment of Jun Matsui as the new CEO of its Australian operations, as former chief Masayuki Mizunuma returns to Japan after five years in the job.

Mr Matsui holds an MBA from the University of Indiana and has been with the company for more than 26 years, working mainly in marketing in Japan and Europe.

Mr Mizunuma is now the GM of the Tokio Marine Japan Telecommunications and Broadcast Department.
