Telstra buy encourages Ebix chief
The “encouraging” acquisition of Telstra eBusiness Services by international financial services IT specialist will impact on the US-based company’s results through 2008, according to President and CEO Robin Raina.
He was announcing a 91% rise in Ebix’s operating income to $US12.8 million ($13.77 million). Total revenue increased 46% to $US42.8 million ($46 million).
Ebix’s 2007 fourth-quarter revenue rose 31% to $US12.2 million ($13.12 million).
“While there is reason to feel encouraged with our continued and consistent success, we realise we are still far from the destination of being the most dominant player globally,” he said.
