Tasmania gets an emergency services health program
Gallagher Bassett is to create and manage a health and wellbeing program for Tasmania’s Department of Fire, Emergency Services and Ambulance employees.
The claims specialist says the tie-up will allow it to expand in Tasmania as it introduces pre-claim and loss control services throughout Australia.
Recent recruit Simon Wilson, GM Consulting Services for Australia, will lead the program.
The State Government will invest $6 million and Gallagher Bassett intends to employ Tasmanians as it partners with Rehab Management.
