Cloud solutions provider TAS is expecting a boost in business from the insurance sector following its acquisition of rival Experteq.

The acquisition was announced last week but TAS declined to reveal the price it paid for the business.

TAS says the purchase positions the expanded entity as a mid-market player with more than 100 staff and specialist industry experience in financial services including insurance and the public sector.

“As insurers accelerate their digital journey and more insurers consider cloud technology as playing a key role in meeting their customers’ needs, TAS’s acquisition of Experteq is timely and highly relevant,” CEO Shane Baker told insuranceNEWS.com.au.
