Jillian Broadbent has become Chairman of the advisory board for Swiss Re Australia and joined the board of Swiss Re Life & Health Australia.

She will take over from David Gonski as Chairman of the Swiss Re Life & Health board next month.

Ms Broadbent is also Chancellor of Wollongong University, Chairman of the Clean Energy Finance Corporation and a director of Woolworths.

She was a director of the Reserve Bank from 1998 to last year.
